Fixtures, reserved ranges, and what this tool is not
Can these numbers receive SMS or calls?
No. They are dummy values for fixtures and tests. They are not a phone service, burner, or inbox.
Why reserved ranges?
Regulators publish fiction/drama/test blocks so generated numbers do not route to real subscribers. That is the safe default for DB seed and form QA.
Will these numbers pass a phone validator?
Usually yes — reserved fiction ranges look like real numbers and typically pass libphonenumber. Some forms reject 555 or drama numbers on purpose. This tool only emits regulator-reserved blocks so generated numbers do not route to real subscribers.
I searched for a fake phone number generator. Is this it?
If you need dummy numbers for development and fixtures, yes. If you need a number that receives SMS or verifies OTP, this tool will not do that — and we will not add it.
