Meta Tags Generator
Generate title, meta description, canonical, robots, Open Graph, and Twitter Card tags. Export HTML, Next.js metadata, or React Helmet. Previews are simulated locally — your page URL is never fetched.
Developer notes
• Empty og:title / twitter:title fall back to the page title; descriptions fall back similarly; og:url falls back to canonical. • outputFormat switches the copy target only — the form fields stay the same. • includeBasics adds charset, viewport, and theme-color to HTML output; turn off when pasting into a Next.js root layout that already sets them. • Import parses pasted HTML locally; it does not change robotsDirective — adjust that in the output toolbar.
Options
Output format
Changes the copied block: HTML <head> fragment, Next.js export const metadata, or React Helmet JSX.
Twitter card type
Sets twitter:card and the X preview layout. summary_large_image expects an image URL — validation warns when it is missing.
Robots directive
Controls the meta name="robots" content — index/follow for production, noindex variants for staging.
Include charset & viewport
When on and format is HTML, prepends charset, viewport, and theme-color. Turn off for framework layouts that already declare them.
When this is the right tool
• Hand-code a landing page <head> without a CMS plugin. • Export App Router metadata or React Helmet JSX from the same form state. • Paste production head HTML, edit one OG field, and regenerate without a live URL audit tool.

Meta Tags Generator FAQ
Local SEO head generator
Does FastMinify fetch my page URL?
No. Generation, import, and previews use only what you type or paste. Nothing is crawled or proxied.
Can I paste an existing <head> block?
Yes. Use Import HTML head — a local DOMParser extracts title, description, canonical, OG, Twitter, and verification tags into the form.
Are the social previews live?
No. Google, Facebook, X, and LinkedIn tabs are simulated from your current fields. After deploy, use the platform debuggers linked on the page to refresh caches.
Will JSON-LD be included?
Use the JSON-LD Schema Markup Generator sibling tool — this page covers HTML meta and Open Graph only.
